In the actual production of machinery manufacturing enterprises, it is often found that some geared motors have not been used for a period of time. When they are used again, the insulation resistance of the geared motor windings is found to be reduced. Especially in the rainy season, the air humidity is high, and the insulation value may even change. If it is reduced to zero, it should be dried to make the insulation resistance and absorption ratio reach the specified value. If it is put into operation hastily, it may cause the insulation breakdown of the torque ac gear motors coil and cause an accident.

Like many mobile phones accidentally dropped into the water, the easy way to solve its dampness and water ingress is to dry it. Although drying is simple on the surface, it also requires a certain method for precision products such as geared motors. For the drying method, the first thing we think of is the heating treatment or the so-called grilling. Here we can summarize it as the external heat source heating method, but there will be some other more complicated methods. The geared motor will decelerate from the gear below. The motor drying method is complicated.

1. Drying method of DC welding machine
The operation wiring of the dry method of the direct current welding machine is similar to that of the alternating current, and the series ammeter should be a direct current ammeter. It is convenient to use a DC welding machine to dry the damp gear reduction motor, and it can also dry large and medium-sized gear reduction motors and high-voltage gear reduction motors for a long time. In this way, when the welding machine works for a long time or high current, its internal components will not be damaged due to long time high current work, so it can be used for a long time for large and medium-sized geared motors. It is worth noting that: when using this electric welding machine to dry, all contacts must be in good contact and fastened. The welding machine's lead wire must use a special wire, and the cross-section size should meet the current carrying capacity of the electric welding machine. Pay attention to the cooling of the transformer of the welding machine, and ensure that the insulation resistance of the geared motor cannot be lower than 0.1MQ. Also pay close attention to the winding temperature of the gear reducer motor, and adjust the voltage and current in time.

2. Drying method of AC welding machine
Before the operation of the AC welding machine drying method, connect the 6 terminals of the damp gear reducer motor windings in series, and the casing is grounded, so that the three sets of windings can be heated and dried. To monitor the current changes during the drying process, one can be connected in series. With only an ammeter, observe whether its current reaches 60% to 70% of the rated current of the gear reducer motor. Drying the gear reduction motor with an AC welding machine does not require disassembly and inspection of the gear reduction motor, which reduces the workload. At the same time, the gear reduction motor uses its own resistance to generate heat when it is energized, so that the coil is evenly heated, and the drying effect is better. The method is only suitable for geared motors below 100KW, and cannot be used for a long time, because the current applied to the welding machine transformer is relatively large when the AC welding machine is working, and it cannot be used for a long time, otherwise the welding machine may be burnt out.

3. Excitation coil drying method
The excitation coil drying method is to wind the excitation coil on the stator coil iron core of the gear reduction motor, and apply alternating current to make the stator generate magnetic flux, and rely on its iron loss to dry the gear reduction motor stator. When using this method, it should be noted that the current in the excitation coil cannot exceed the current carrying capacity of the wire. At the same time, the temperature rise of the stator coil should be monitored so that it does not exceed the maximum value allowed by the manufacturer. If you want to increase the drying speed, you can appropriately increase the input voltage of the excitation coil (the number of turns of the excitation coil should be increased by the same time). It is worth noting that this method is suitable for large-scale geared motors with high power and not easy to move on site, but a leakage protector should be used when the excitation coil is energized. At the same time, the selected excitation coil requires that the temperature of the geared motor stator rises. It can meet its good insulation performance when it is high.

4. External heat source heating method
For the damp geared motor, first disassemble it and inspect it, then put a high-power incandescent bulb into the geared motor to bake it, or put the geared motor in a drying room for drying. This method is easy to operate, safe and reliable, but it is only suitable for small geared motors that are easy to disassemble and inspect. For large and medium-sized or geared motors that are not easy to disassemble and inspect, the workload is relatively large, and the feasibility is also reduced. It should be noted that the light bulb or heat source should not be too close to the coil during the operation of this method to prevent the coil from being burnt out, and items such as canvas can be added to the gear reducer motor housing for heat preservation.

Daily use and maintenance of hardened gear reducer

1. Check whether the oil level of the brushless gear motor Factory meets the requirements before starting. Follow the prompts to open or remove the vent cover to make it ventilate smoothly, and check if the rotation is flexible.

2. The no-load operation should be carried out about half an hour before the load test operation, and it is confirmed that the no-load operation can be loaded and operated without failure. The test operation should always check the operation: no abnormal shock, vibration, no leakage, or oil leakage. The temperature should not exceed 60℃, and the high oil temperature should not exceed 100℃ (while checking the daily work at any time), it can work normally.

3. If there is an abnormal situation in the operation, the inspection should be stopped, and the work can be continued after the problem is found and eliminated. Check the lubrication status from time to time, pay attention to the amount of oil replenishment, and remove and replace damaged lubricating oil on time.

4. If the installation azimuth is changed, the oil mirror, oil plug, and vent cap can generally be removed.

5. Hard tooth surface gear deceleration should be kept clean at all times, and no dust on the outer surface, so as not to affect heat dissipation.

6. Storage: dry and ventilated. Store at room temperature. Anti-rust treatment should be carried out when the storage period exceeds three months. When the machine is placed for about a year, check whether the oil seal is aging and whether the oil is damaged during use.

Matters needing attention in the use of the motor

As a vulnerable part, the life of the motor (especially the brush motor) component is relatively short for the entire motion system. Therefore, it is very necessary to understand some precautions when using the motor.

 

1. Machining of China planetary gearmotor company (gearbox) shaft: According to different loads, customers often need to process the output shaft, such as: drilling, milling, keyway, etc. The safest method is to fix the load on the shaft through the top wire. For further tightening, two top wires with an angle of 90° can be used for fixing. If the output shaft must be processed, it must be ensured that the axial and radial forces on the output shaft do not exceed the indicators given in the parameter table during the machining process, otherwise the bearing of the output shaft will easily be damaged. In the worst case, the shaft vibration increases, in the worst case, the motor and gear box are completely unusable, and the most serious may even damage the encoder at the rear of the motor and cause a complete set of products to be scrapped.

 

2. Motor locked-rotor: After the motor is locked, the consumed current reaches the maximum value and all the electrical energy is converted into heat energy. This may cause the motor temperature to rise sharply in a short time. Once it exceeds the allowable operating temperature range, it will There will be serious consequences such as magnet demagnetization and coil short circuit. Motor locked-rotor current = voltage applied to the motor/motor terminal resistance

 

3. Soldering lugs at the end of the motor: For a brushed motor, there are two metal lugs at the end to connect to the power supply. The solder tab has a certain degree of flexibility, but it cannot be bent repeatedly. More than three times may break

Steps for correct installation and maintenance of planetary gear reducer motor

The correct installation and maintenance of the planetary gearbox is the key to the normal operation of the planetary motor. Therefore, when you install the planetary gear motor, please install it strictly according to the following installation sequence.


Step 1: Before installation, confirm whether the motor and planetary gear reducer are complete and undamaged, and strictly whether the dimensions of each part adjacent to the drive motor and the reducer are aligned. This refers to the size and common service between the positioning boss and shaft diameter of the drive motor flange and the positioning groove and aperture of the reducer flange; wipe and dispose of the common appearance of dirt and burrs.


Step 2: Unscrew the screw plug on the process hole on the side of the flange of the reducer, rotate the input end of the reducer, align the holding hexagon socket screw cap with the process hole, insert the hexagon socket tool to loosen and tighten the hexagon socket screw .


Step 3: Hold the drive motor so that the keyway on the shaft is perpendicular to the screw in the input end hole of the reducer, and insert the drive motor shaft into the input end hole of the reducer. When inserting, it must be ensured that the concentricity of the two is equal and the flanges on both sides are parallel. It seems that the difference in heart degree, etc. or the unyielding of the flanges on both sides must be investigated for the reason. In addition, it is strictly forbidden to use hammering during the installation, that is, it can prevent the axial or radial force of the hammer from damaging the bearings of the two, and it can be determined by the feel of the device to determine whether the two are in line. The key to decisively that the two have the same concentricity and flange parallelism is: after the two are inserted into each other, the two flanges are basically tight, and the loopholes are the same.


Step 4: In order to ensure that the connecting force of the two flanges is symmetrical, first screw the fastening screws of the drive motor arbitrarily, but do not tighten them; then gradually tighten the four fastening screws according to the diagonal position; finally tighten the planetary gear Hold the screw in the input end hole of the geared motor. Be sure to tighten the fastening screw of the drive motor first, and then tighten the input end hole of the reducer to hold the screw. Meticulous: The accurate placement between the reducer and the machine setting equipment is similar to the accurate placement between the planetary gear reducer and the drive motor. The key is that the output shaft of the planetary reducer must be concentrically aligned with the input shaft of the driven department.
